Chapel Hill and Durham Outperform The Triangle – 2011 Real Estate Market Update

You will learn that Chapel Hill and Durham are outperforming the rest of the Triangle.
Sales in the Triangle overall are down 27% and they are down 29% in Wake County.
Sales in Chapel Hill are up 5%!!!! The list-to-sales price ratio is still not as strong as it used to be. Currently it is 96%. The days on market are also stretching out. The average DOM is 127 which is up 16%.
Sales in Durham are down 16.7% which is not great but it is not as bad as other spots in the Triangle. The list-to-sales price ratio is 95.5% and the average days on market is 127 which is up 44%.
