Springtime in the Bull City means one thing for sure: flowers are showing off in droves at Duke University’s Sarah P. Duke Gardens! If you haven’t visited this floral oasis, you will want to check it out. Stroll through rows of Akebono Cherry trees, tulips, daffodils, azeleas, and many, many more varieties of flowering plants and trees. To make the most out of your visit, Duke Gardens offers both guided walking and trolley tours. Although the grounds are always open from 8 am to dusk, the walking and trolley tours are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 am and 2 pm. Tickets are $8 per person. Contact Duke Gardens at 919-684-3698  to purchase advance tickets, as spots fill up quickly!
