I just learned from a local Rabbi and friend — Zalman Bluming — that a Jewish Ronald McDonald House called Beit Chanoch has just opened near Duke University. Watch this video. It is very touching and it tells you the history behind the facility and what it is today. Thank you to Rabbi Zalman and Yehudis Bluming for making something so important a reality in our community.
