There are major changes coming to Wake County Schools in the very near future.
From the Wake County Public School Systems website:
“On Aug. 18, the Wake County Schools Board of Education reviewed the first draft of the 2016-17 Student Enrollment Proposal. It begins the process of public discussion that will culminate with a final plan being approved as early as late November.”
There are five new schools opening this year including:
- Beaverdam Elementary School
- Oakview Elementary School
- Pine Hollow Middle School
- Pleasant Grove Elementary School
- White Oak Elementary
Schools and school assignments are are the forefront of the minds of our clients. We are aware of this and will do our best to provide you with the most up to date information on school assignments and your options. If you want to know more or would like to continue the discussion on school assignments or the opening of new schools use this link.
To determine the base assignment and optional schools for your address, you will need to identify the address for the residence of the student. To begin, we need to determine the street name. You can do that here.
