Below find a Real Estate Experts chart that shows the housing market data for Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina.
As you can see from the data the number of new listings was down 16.5% while the closed sales were up 9.2%. The median sales price increased along with the average sales price. Each were up 4.6% and 5.2% respectively. The months supply of inventory was down slightly which will be an interesting metric to watch moving forward. Also note some of the year to date data points shown above. We are only two months into the year but we are already starting to see a few trends for the Chapel Hill and Carrboro area.
