Wise Homes & Buildings Program. Homeowners that live in Chapel Hill and Carrboro can get financial help on conducting a home energy audit and they can get money towards the cost of implementing the recommendations.
This energy efficicency program is for single-family homes, single-family rental homes and multi-family buildings.
Through the program you can get:
- $150 towards the cost of a Home Performance Energy Assessment;
- $1500 towards qualifying home energy efficiency improvements;
- Access to pre-qualified contractors;
- Access to expert Quality Assurance; and
- Home performance with an Energy Star certificate.
